Hi everyone! Phew, made it! Day 30! Thank you all so much for all your wonderful comments throughout this challenge, your love and support have really kept me going! You are all so amazing! As this is my last day of the challenge and of the month, it will also be the last day of my Twin Peaks fixation. My new layout will be completely different and it will have colour! It's time! As a tribute to my big obsession, I'm posting pictures of some of the women who appeared in the show and some of them will be in colour!

I hope you all had a good June. It's been very cold here, winter has definitely arrived in our little corner of the Southern Hemisphere. QUESTION 29: Your definition of beauty.

To be perfectly honest, I don't believe that it has anything to do with the way you look, it's all about how you treat others. You can be the most beautiful woman in the world, but if you are also a total bitch, you may as well be a horse's arse!


From an aesthetic point of view, what makes a woman attractive in my eyes is the expression of her natural beauty. Keeping make-up light and understated, not over styling the hair and wearing simple, flattering clothes and jewellery is key. Your outer appearance should enhance your inner beauty, not hide it!

Hello lovely ladies! We're almost at the end of the challenge and the month. Time flies when you're trying to shed the pounds! I've spent quite a bit of time devising new guidelines for next month on Atkins. I want to only post once or twice a week as the every day posting is getting a bit much and I'm sure my writing is starting to get rather tiresome!

Duh! Having legs that chaff together is most uncomfortable, but from a purely aesthetic point of view, I just like the way it looks!

QUESTION 27: How do you deal with being around food?

At home, I keep things well packed away and not lying around to tempt me. I make sure the fridge is as empty as possible and only filled with necessary, healthy items. My store cupboard contains only tinned (canned) goods, like tuna and dry goods like herbs and spices, no snacks, treats or junk food. I don't keep food in my handbag (purse) and I don't squirrel it away for a rainy day. I am a devious little bitch and I will find it and I will binge! I cannot be trusted! When I go to other people's houses, tell them how lovely their lounge or bedroom is and that we should hang out there, rather than the kitchen. They never suspect that it's because I'm avoiding food. I struggle to eat in front of most people and don't want to have to explain why. Considering all I've just written, it's hard to believe I'm still such a fatty, innit?!




Hi, girls! Thank you all so much for your lovely comments and concerns. I've done Atkins many times and my body readily goes into ketosis, so I know it's right for me. I just need to work on my carbohydrate cravings so that I don't binge and ruin my progress. I realise that I don't need them, I just want them, so it makes it easier to accept that I should stop using food as a form of comfort! Also, I appreciate your noticing how all my hard work and effort almost always goes unrewarded, it's something that I struggle with a lot in different ares in my life. I can promise you that I am being honest and sticking to my diet and exercise plan. I'm not lying and saying I was good when secretly, I'm slothing around on the couch all day, guzzling beer, pizza and chocolate! I really am working very hard! Anyway, I had a great day today! I played by all the rules, so hopefully, I will see results soon!
