A while ago I created the image below by combining an abstract natural pattern photo with another Moab landscape image. As I continue to pursue photography this image has always stood out to my as a high point in my artistic creation and as an image. However, since creating it I have felt that I should continue the investigation of combining landscapes with abstract, pattern-centric photos. Today while I was out walking I noticed the salt stains on the sidewalk which reinvigorated me to take up this investigation again. After working for a while on this theme tonight, the result is the image above. I took neither image today, but I don't think it's cheating since I had the inspiration and created the image today.
