These images are interesting to me because of their beauty despite their polluted settings. Obviously there are connections with environmentalism with these images, but I don't want them to be seen only as statements against humanity's ill treatment of the earth. Instead, I like the questioning of what is beauty and what can make up the beautiful that these images raise. The last image, I feel, is the most representative of the current times in which there is not a clear cut path, there is not a clear old way of thinking, there is not a clear evil or wrong to fight against; instead it is all slightly blurred and impossible to view clearly.
