Sony Issues Service Notice for Cyber-shot DSC-TX5 Waterproof Camera
Sony today issues a service notice for the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX5 waterproof camera. Originally announced on February 17 2010, the 10.2 Megapixels TX5 was the world's thinnest and smallest certified waterproof digital still camera with Optical SteadyShot image stabilization and touch operation. From the service notice, it appears that for a limited number of these cameras there's an issue where the coating adhesion of the lens cover may be weaker than expected.
