Happy Black Frog-Day..I mean Black Friday! :)
This time, it's a fantasy-based extreme manipulation but with a darker edge. My inspiration is the popular Frogprince tale that is popularized by the Brothers Grimm. In their tale, a spoiled princess reluctantly befriends a frog (possibly meeting him after dropping a gold ball into his pond), who magically transforms into a handsome prince. But in my point-of-view it is different, it's kind of bloody hell or bad ending. Well, who will end up as the luckiest fried frog next time? :D For the ladies: "You have to kiss (eat) a lot of frogs before you find your handsome prince." For the gentlemen: "Be ready for a deceptive romance in any order--Love, Pray, Eat!"

The Macro Shooter (Photographers in Peril part 2)

The Macro Shooter is the 2nd part of my "Photographers in Peril" series. The first one was End of Decadence (Going Greek Volcanic) which can be found below this blog and in my Facebook page.
I really had fun doing this image. For one, I used a real person; a fellow photographer who has the striking identity and cool attitude. Second is that I successfully turned my crazy otherwordly idea into something that's conceivable or possible. I could have been made 'The Macro Shooter' as a digital painting but changed my mind by turning it into a photorealistic with a painting touch image instead. So, I decided to utilize fellow Nikon user Lawrence Lee aka "Mais" Lee or "Joker's Bastard Son" of Kubo Photography Group to pose for this idea. :) Shooting him for this image required me a few but challenging seconds because we were on a volleyball court with an ongoing intense game and that using a strong strobe flash could disturb the players. Thank God for Creative Lighting Systems, doing the shot is a flash. Whew! More Photographers in Peril soon. Watch out! :) (Click the images to enlarge)

Crouching Laundry and the Hidden Panty (The Making)

Now, it's time for some humor with a martial art twist.
I had so much fun doing Crouching Laundry and the Hidden Panty (sorry if the title offends you). For one, it tested my creativity to the hilt especially in creating a fun yet photo-realistic image. It's hard to achieve a breezy feel to it especially photos aren't moving so it's really a challenge for me to create something windy.
The models are great too since they really put some good acting. Kudos my brothers.
Adding some elements also gave me some pointblank decisions. So as not to clutter the whole photo, I deleted some minor stuff like the birds, for example, which take some attention from the three subjects. The clouds are enough to give some free spirited touch to the windstruck photo manipulation. :) Hope you like this one. :) (click the images to enlarge)

Nethead

Finally, here's my first post entitled "Nethead."
The idea is simple: Popular web services' logos come popping out from my head. You name it. There's Facebook, Gmail, Flickr, YouTube, Twitter (though I don't Tweet), Skype, Utorrent, Yahoo. The internet has a deluge of other popular ones  but too much isn't good to include them all here. And to consider Friendster and Multiply, these sites are quite extinct in terms of popularity game. But oh, where on earth is Google's multi-colored logo in this entire mess? The Google logo exploded if you circle your eyes around the image.
Shown above is the simple behind-the-scene set up.. an umbrella with SB600 and a mini-softbox mounted on a SB900 Speedlight.
