Happy Monday Blogosphere! Had an amazing weekend celebrating one of our BFF's 30th birthday in Palm Springs. It was full of food, sun, drinks, ping pong, basketball, and more! I put away the computer for the weekend and just enjoyed some quality time with my nearest and dearest.
Now that I am back to the real world, I thought I should bring you an ADORABLE idea that was featured on Bridal Buds (another favorite blog of ours). Often, brides and grooms have a hard time finding something new and interesting to use as their guest book. As an elementary teacher at heart, I LOVED the idea of using a "family tree" as the sign in idea. What a unique and beautiful way to commemorate all the people who were a part of your special day. You can chose to make your own tree OR you can order it here through ETSY. See the pictures below:
This is a blank tree that is provided to the guests to start signing. Pens and green ink pads are left for guests to leave prints of their "fingers" and then sign their names next to the print.
Hint: PROVIDE WIPES for guests when done.
Close up of what the tree looks like when prints are placed on it! How CUTE!
Final tree.
Another cute idea would be to continue this tradition and do one at your baby showers as well to again, create an unique and adorable commemorative piece for your family!
