Love. Love. Love.

A good friend of mine told me the other day that he hated "Valentine's Day" because it was completely commercialized. While I definitely agree, I think that at the heart of it (no pun intended), Valentine's Day is a day that is dedicated to loving. Loving yourself. Loving your partner. Loving your family. Loving your friends. Loving your job. Loving your surroundings. Loving the fact that you are here, present, and alive.So yes...the dancing gorilla singing "Hunka Hunka Burning Love" is definitely not something to waste your money on. But telling those around you that you love them...that is what it is about.
