Well, it's day 2 of my liquid fast and I'm thoroughly enjoying my tea, all the way from New Jersey. Thank you Sarah for sending me such a lovely gift!

I feel OK today. I'm supposed to clean house, but it's raining and I never feel up to much when it rains. I usually drink coffee and stare out the window, dreaming of Seattle! (new followers, I've never been there, but hope to one day!) I won't lie, the rain is a welcome relief from the South African Summer heat! I suspect, however that when it clears, it's going to be hot and humid as hell! I can certainly see why the British Raj, who came here from India, refer to this time of year as' Indian Summer'. The weather is very similar. Hot and sticky!
