Just A Quickie!

To Whom It May Concern,

Fast: 38 hours in and still feeling good! My 'tumkin' has had a chance to catch up on all the' back log' (no pun intended!), so I'm empty in the truest sense! I needed this.

I decided to trade yesterday's 5km run for  2.2km of interval training and I'll be doing the same today. You all have to try this! Apparently, it burns more calories than regular running and it's a great workout for those of us who are often pressed for time! I can feel I've worked out today and it feels good! The above link also mentions the benefits of taking green tea tabs before you run. I must say, I noticed a marked difference in my performance! Ran like a mo-fo! I had 2 litres of water yesterday and I've started in on the same for today. Working my way through my 4th glass! Wait, I must pee ...!

Right, I think I'll break my fast tonight with a simple side plate of chicken and green peppers (223 cals.), no need to go overboard! And maybe do a bit of protein for breakfast on Friday. Think I'm ready to face eggs again (bloody Atkins!), so maybe scrambled eggs and tomatoes (150 cals.) I'll try to keep it light for the rest of the day, like 500 cals. or less. Will snack on some raw veggies too, for fibre. Yum!
