Good morning all! Today I'm making a special post which isn't actually art related. Please take a few moments and watch this video, a tribute to my Dad, Malvin R. Pike a Hero of WWII. Born Oct. 14, 1919. He was on the first wave of boats to hit Utah beach on D-Day June 6, 1944. He was wounded 4 times and was awarded numerous medals including 4 Purple Hearts. My dad was also the father of 6 kids and married to my mom for 55 years. He lived a full life but lost his final battle to Leukemia Nov. 6, 2001. He deserves to be remembered.
