Keeping Fingers Crossed!

Sally Hawkins.
To Whom It May Concern,

To all my readers, thank you so much for your wonderful comments. Hearing from you makes the journey worth while. " I know we'll be just fine when we learn to love the ride." 'You'll be fine' - by Tim Delaughter. (Theme song for 'United States of Tara')

I notice that many of us are starting new diets and weight-loss methods this week. I'm going to make a BIG effort to stick to my new plan and get as much exercise as I possibly can and drink my water etc. I got some green tea tabs to boost my metabolism and milk thistle to help my poor liver. I inherited my ailing liver from my grandfather. It's what eventually killed him. That and years of binge drinking! Ha! I've decided that I definitely don't want to suffer the same fate and so no more booze-ups and I'm eating only foods that will keep my little liver smiling! After all, the quality of life depends on the liver!

One of the lovely lads I live with is on a weight loss mission of  his own. He's not happy with his middle. Of course, I like his natural build and think he's totally GORGEOUS, but it's his opinion, not mine that counts. He bought a fabulous book, 'Waist Disposal' by Dr. John Briffa. It's specifically for men, but the food guidelines are similar to what I'm eating. Always nice to have validation! He's a naturally-oriented medical doctor and not at all a smug prat! Yay! I  normally don't like the 'white coats', but I do like how he prefers natural medicine to the conventional nasties, so he's OK in my book!

I really hope this week holds good news and progress for us all. Stay strong, fight hard and reach for the stars. Keeping fingers crossed.

Sincerely,
Cinnamon Brown.
